Microsoft unveiled the latest AI advancements by introducing next-generation AI and the enhanced capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Copilot across the ERP portfolio, including in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Dynamics 365 Project Operations, and Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. It will enable users to efficiently handle changes to purchase orders at scale and assess the impact and risk to help optimize procurement and other financial decisions.

Microsoft and Canadian Tire Corporation (CTC) partner seven-year partnership, CTC will leverage Microsoft Azure to modernize its systems and infrastructure and utilize direct access to Microsoft’s trusted cloud products and solutions, expertise, and up-skilling capabilities.

Microsoft Azure HBv4 and HX Series VMs for HPC now generally available. Microsoft is offering customers the first VMs featuring the latest 4th Gen AMD EPYC™ processors with AMD 3D V-Cache™ technology (codename ‘Genoa-X’), paired with 400 Gigabit NVIDIA Quantum-2 InfiniBand. Azure HBv4 and HX-series VMs offer leadership levels of performance, scaling efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Microsoft announces its first cloud region in Italy, accelerating innovation and economic opportunity.

One of the world’s largest financial institutions BBVA taps AWS to deliver advanced analytics and data services in the cloud, taking a decisive step in its data and artificial intelligence (AI) transformation process.

General availability of AWS Database Migration Service server-less which automatically provisions and scales migration resources to make database migrations easier.

AWS invests $100 million into Generative AI Innovation Center, a new program that connects AWS machine learning and artificial intelligence experts with customers and partners worldwide to accelerate enterprise innovation and success with generative AI.

Microsoft outlines framework for building AI apps and copilots; expands AI plugin ecosystem. Enabling interoperability across ChatGPT and the breadth of Microsoft’s copilot offerings. That means developers can now use one platform to build plugins that work across both business and consumer surfaces, including ChatGPT, Bing, Dynamics 365 Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Windows Copilot.

Microsoft achieves first milestone towards a quantum supercomputer. In its virtual event, Microsoft announced it had achieved the first milestone of its six-step road map to a quantum supercomputer with a peer-reviewed research paper demonstrating the achievement. The second announcement from the tech giant was the integration of its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered assistant, Copilot, into Azure Quantum.

Oracle plans to develop powerful, generative AI services for organisations worldwide. Oracle is uniquely positioned to deliver generative AI services spanning applications to infrastructure that help businesses solve today’s most complex challenges.

Salesforce announced a comprehensive expansion of Artificial I)ntelligence products under a new AI Cloud name. This year, Salesforce is launching a range of generative AI tools, like ChatGPT, which have been seamlessly integrated with their products.

Trend Micro predicts the Security Operation Center (SOC) within organisations will absorb cloud security by 2026.
