Upcoming policy changes mean that visibility into authorization status must become part of standard operations for Microsoft CSP partners like you.

With that in mind, SoftwareOne has announced a significant update to Cloud-iQ. This update will instantly give you the visibility you need to see which customer relationships are healthy, which need attention, and how to act at scale to keep our joint Microsoft partnership running smoothly.

Here’s how the key new features within this update will make your life easier:

  • Account Health Column: A new Account Health column now appears directly in the Microsoft accounts list within Cloud-iQ. At a glance, you’ll be able to see the status of required CSP authorization relationships across your entire customer base. A green check mark means everything is in order. A red warning icon means something is missing. When it appears, Cloud-iQ instantly surfaces the relevant authorization link ready to copy or drop straight into a pre-configured email template so you can act without delay.
  • GDAP Status integration: The same account view now also surfaces the status of Granular Delegated Admin Privileges (GDAP) relationships. GDAP visibility alongside Account Health means you now have a complete picture of each customer relationship, all in one place. No switching between views, no hunting for information. Everything you need to confirm your service relationships are in good shape is right there.
  • Enhanced CSV export: Of course, visibility is only useful if you can act on it. That’s why Cloud-iQ now makes it straightforward to export account health data (including the new CSP_IndirectResellerRelationship_Status field) as a CSV file. That export becomes a worklist. Load it into your project management tool or assign remediation tasks to your team so they can work through them systematically. Especially for partners managing large customer bases, this is the feature that turns a dashboard view into a structured operational process. Remediation stops being reactive and becomes something you can plan, assign, and track.

New features at-a-glance

Update What it does How it helps
Account Health column Displays a green check or red warning icon against each account in your Microsoft accounts list, showing whether mandatory CSP authorization relationships are in place. Helps you spot relationship gaps at a glance and act on them before they block orders or disrupt provisioning.
GDAP status integration Surfaces Granular Delegated Admin Privileges (GDAP) relationship status alongside Account Health in the same view. Confirms the right GDAP relationships are in place to service your customers effectively, without switching between screens.
Enhanced CSV export Exports account health data as a downloadable CSV file. Turns your Account Health view into an actionable worklist you can assign, track, and manage across your entire customer base.

Why you need this update

Microsoft's direction of travel is clear: soon, only Indirect Resellers who can demonstrate an active, established relationship to the customer will be able to transact CSP business through their Indirect Provider. Once enforcement kicks in, any gap in that relationship means a blocked order. For partners managing large customer bases, the real challenge will be visibility: knowing, at any given moment, exactly which relationships are healthy and which need attention before they become a problem.

This update means you’re covered.

Less admin, more business as usual

To sum it up, this Cloud-iQ update gives you powerful new tools to stay compliant, avoid order blocks, and improve operational efficiency. Make the most of them and you can look forward to maintaining strong end customer relationships and being ready for whatever comes next with Microsoft policy requirements.
