It’s been a big month of AI led announcements from Microsoft. Firstly, Microsoft together with OpenAI, introduced an all new AI-powered Bing search engine and Edge browser. New Bing runs on a new next-generation OpenAI large language model that takes key learnings and advancements from ChatGPT and GPT-3.5. It also announced the launch of AI powered Microsoft Teams Premium built on the latest technologies, including Large Language Models by OpenAI’s GPT-3.5, to make meetings more intelligent, personalized, and protected. Finally, a new generative AI-powered experience was introduced in Microsoft Viva Sales . Leveraging the power of Azure OpenAI Service and GPT, Viva Sales provides access to rich, people-centric data and insights in the Microsoft Cloud.

AWS is planning to invest an estimated $4.5 billion (approx. A$6.8 billion) in Australia by 2037 and has launched its second infrastructure region in Australia. The general availability of AWS Telco Network Builder was introduced, a fully managed service to help Communications Service Providers (CSPs) deploy and manage public and private telco networks on AWS.
