Raphael Erb
Chief Executive Officer, with SoftwareOne since 1999
Raphael Erb has been Chief Executive Officer of SoftwareOne since August 2026, and was previously Co-CEO of SoftwareOne from July 2025. Raphael oversees activities in the regions as well as Services and Marketplace, with all Regional Presidents reporting to him directly.
During his 25+ years at SoftwareOne, Raphael has held several leadership roles. Since November 2024, he has been Chief Executive Officer of SoftwareOne, and prior to that, he was named Chief Revenue Officer and member of the Executive Board as of 1 July 2024, and President Asia Pacific since 2019. Before these roles, he was Head of the Services business in the German-speaking markets and country lead for Switzerland and Singapore, having joined the company as an inside sales team leader in 1999.
Raphael is a Swiss citizen and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from PHW Zurich.

Hanspeter Schraner
Chief Financial Officer, with SoftwareOne since 2025
Hanspeter Schraner is Chief Financial Officer of SoftwareOne since June 2025.
Over the last 20+ years, he has held various senior financial leadership roles, with proven expertise in financial management and transformation, leadership and M&A across a range of industries.
Most recently, he served as Group Chief Financial Officer at Heritage B Group, a privately held industrial group. Prior to that, he held Group CFO positions at Bucherer Holding, Mövenpick Holding and Carlo Gavazzi Holding, as well as senior financial roles at Forbo International and Sarna Holding.
Hanspeter Schraner is a Swiss national, Swiss-certified public accountant and holds a Master’s degree in business administration with a focus on international management from the University of St. Gallen (HSG).

Oliver Berchtold
Chief Operating Officer, with SoftwareOne since 2004
Oliver Berchtold is Chief Operating Officer since July 2025, having joined SoftwareOne in August 2004.
During his 20+ years at SoftwareOne, Oliver has played a pivotal role in building the company and transforming it into a global leader in IT services and solutions, with a proven track record for scaling global business strategies and integrating complex acquisitions. With international experience in several countries, he has held various leadership positions. In his most recent roles as President Software and Cloud, and previously dual role as Transition and Transformation Leader as well as Regional Services Lead for the DACH region, he led the team to achieve double-digit growth and innovation in service models.
Oliver is a Swiss citizen. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, completed in PHW Zurich and Ottawa University, Kansas.

Regina Manfredi
President Americas, with SoftwareOne since 2023
Regina Manfredi is President Americas and responsible for leading SoftwareOne’s business across the United States, Canada and LATAM. Since joining SoftwareOne in 2023, she has held senior leadership roles focused on regional growth, business transformation, and operational performance.
With more than 18 years of experience in the technology industry, Regina brings extensive expertise in P&L management, cloud and AI ecosystems, strategic partnerships, and commercial leadership. Prior to joining SoftwareOne, she held leadership positions across channel, enterprise, and services organizations, driving growth in collaboration with leading hyperscalers including AWS, Microsoft, and Google. Since her appointment as President NORAM in 2025, she has led the region through a period of improved financial performance, revenue growth, and operational efficiency, while successfully overseeing the integration of Crayon and SoftwareOne across North America.
Regina is an American citizen and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Houston. She is currently completing the Agentic AI Executive Program at the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Rico Andreoli
President EMEA, with SoftwareOne since 2009
Rico Andreoli is President EMEA and responsible for leading SoftwareOne’s business across the EMEA region. During his more than 17 years with SoftwareOne, he has held a variety of leadership positions with increasing responsibility, progressing from Account Manager to regional leadership roles across Europe.
Throughout his career, Rico has built extensive expertise in enterprise software, cloud and licensing businesses, sales leadership, public sector growth, business transformation, and customer success. He has successfully led high-performing teams across multiple European markets and has a proven track record of delivering consistent commercial growth, developing scalable service offerings, and fostering leadership excellence across the organization.
In his current role, Rico drives regional growth initiatives, commercial performance, and customer engagement across EMEA. He is recognized for his customer-centric approach, strategic leadership, and commitment to building and developing high-performing teams that deliver sustainable business outcomes. Rico is a Swiss citizen.

Varun Paliwal
Regional President APAC, with SoftwareOne since 2015
Varun Paliwal is Regional President APAC and responsible for leading SoftwareOne’s business across the Asia Pacific region. Since joining SoftwareOne, he has had several leadership positions with increasing regional responsibility, including roles across India, Sri Lanka, and the Middle East.
With more than 20 years of experience in the technology and services industry, Varun brings extensive expertise in business leadership, commercial strategy, business transformation, spanning cloud, technology services, and platform businesses, as well as market expansion. Prior to SoftwareOne, he was an entrepreneur and co-founded a boutique management consulting and strategic advisory firm, following earlier roles at Microsoft and Infosys that gave him a unique perspective on the software industry.
Throughout his career, he has established and scaled new business lines, expanded operations into new geographic markets, built high-performing sales organizations, and managed strategic partnerships and enterprise customer relationships across multiple regions. He also contributed to the incubation and expansion of SoftwareOne’s global cybersecurity practice.
Varun is committed to ensuring that SoftwareOne creates a lasting positive impact on society and the environment. He actively champions SoftwareOne‘s ESG agenda across APAC, embedding sustainability and responsible business practices into how the company operates and engages with the community.
Varun is an Indian citizen and holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.

Guðmundur Aðalsteinsson
Chief Channel & Ecosystems Officer, with SoftwareOne since 2013
Gudmundur Adalsteinsson, Chief Channel & Ecosystems Officer, leads SoftwareOne’s global Channel partner business. Since joining Crayon in 2013, he has held several leadership positions, including Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Sales Officer at Crayon, and founded Crayon Iceland.
With more than 25 years of experience in the software and cloud industry, Gudmundur brings extensive expertise across vendor, distribution, and reseller ecosystems. Throughout his career, he has played a key role in helping organizations adopt cloud technologies, optimize their technology investments, and accelerate business growth. Following the combination of Crayon and SoftwareOne, he led the commercial integration of the two organizations, driving alignment and business synergies across the combined company. Prior to joining Crayon, he held leadership roles at Microsoft in Denmark, Iceland, and New Zealand, focusing on sales and partner management.
Gudmundur is an Icelandic citizen, residing in Copenhagen Denmark and has a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management and Business Administration as well as an Associate Degree in Economics from EHL (École hôtelière de Lausanne).
