Signing off on success
When Peter embarked on his career journey, his passion for creating intuitive user experiences set the stage for remarkable success. He leads one of the world’s most innovative cloud-based electronic signature management companies, transforming how businesses handle digital communications.
“Programming computers didn’t excite me,” Peter admits. “But I love crafting user interfaces that are ergonomic and visually appealing. I believe a great front end can make even a simple system shine, whereas a complex back end with a poor interface is often unusable.”
This philosophy guided Peter throughout his studies in Electronic and Computer Engineering and into his professional career. Drawn by the company’s commitment to user-centric design, he joined Crossware after being recruited by a former colleague. When his colleague moved on, Peter stepped into the role of General Manager, ready to steer Crossware toward new horizons.
Initially focused on bespoke application development, Crossware’s trajectory changed when a major insurance company requested a signature management system. Recognizing the opportunity, the team developed a solution that seamlessly integrated with Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online. “One request led to another,” Peter recalls, “and we transformed into leaders in signature management.”
Crossware transforms digital signatures with cloud-based solutions for consistent, compliant branding worldwide“We needed to manage billing and sales reconciliation, along with product and pricing updates in AppSource. WeTransact enabled us to do that and our partnership with SoftwareOne made that connection.
General Manager of Crossware
Crossware’s innovative service operates through scalable cloud technology. “We use Microsoft Azure’s global network to run our applications,” explains Peter. “Whenever we gain a new customer, we can quickly provide service from the nearest data center. Every time users send an email, Crossware automatically adds a legally compliant and correctly formatted signature, ensuring consistent branding and professionalism.”
Expanding beyond local markets, however, presented challenges. Crossware needed greater visibility and a direct channel to reach customers worldwide. Their partnership with SoftwareOne (formerly Crayon) proved to be the catalyst for this growth. “SoftwareOne connected us with WeTransact, enabling us to manage billing, sales reconciliation, and product updates seamlessly on Microsoft’s AppSource marketplace,” says Peter. “Their expertise helped us navigate the complexities of global distribution.”
SoftwareOne’s support extended beyond marketplace integration. “They assist with our day-to-day operations, offer strategic advice, and ensure our infrastructure runs smoothly,” Peter notes. “With their consultants, we have confidence that our Azure usage is optimized and correctly billed.”
Looking ahead, Peter is enthusiastic about the future. “With SoftwareOne’s support, we’re implementing a new distribution model that will elevate us to the next level. Signing off on success is just the beginning of our journey together.”
