Who is D-Trust?
D-Trust is a subsidiary of Bundesdruckerei Gruppe GmbH, which is a direct, wholly-owned subsidiary of the Federal German Government. As the federal government's IT security company, it assumes social responsibility and is particularly committed to Germany's digital sovereignty.

With the Adobe Acrobat Sign or DocuSign products, you can obtain electronic signatures including internal and/or external workflows. This is usually the simple electronic signature.
sign-me enables the use of all signature levels of the eIDAS Regulation for advanced to qualified electronic signatures. The latter fulfils the written form requirement and is equivalent to the handwritten signature in terms of legal effect.
sign-me is a web-based complete solution for remote signatures – from user identification to electronic signatures. Your customers only need a PC or tablet with an internet connection and a mobile phone to authorize the signature.
Typical process of a remote signature
After you or the participants in the signature process have signed the document with Adobe Acrobat Sign or DocuSign, you will be automatically forwarded to sign-me in the browser.
This is followed by a one-time authentication of the person. This can be done in the following three ways:
Video identification
To do this, you will need your ID document and a laptop or smartphone with an integrated camera. Follow the instructions given by the specialist staff during the call.
Point of sale
A D-Trust employee or authorized partner will authenticate your employees directly at your premises.
During authentication, a sign-me account is created in which your certificate is stored. To do this, you will need your e-mail address, a password and a smartphone.

How do I get sign-me?
SoftwareOne offers all its customers the opportunity to purchase sign-me without any purchase obligation. After the technical integration has been carried out (duration: ~2 weeks), only one support fee per year is due. The consumption of identifications and remote signatures will be billed to you on a monthly basis.
