SoftwareOne recognised as a IDC MarketScape Leader

According to IDC, SoftwareOne was named a Leader because of its global IT Asset Management (ITAM) footprint, tooling‑agnostic delivery model, and integrated approach that brings together SAM, FinOps, SaaS management, and ESG/GreenOps.

In its report, IDC states that businesses face increasing complexity across software licencing, SaaS portfolios, and hybrid cloud consumption. As a result, demand is rising for managed service partners capable of delivering end‑to‑end lifecycle governance, scalable global delivery, AI‑driven optimisation insights, and proactive audit‑readiness support.

The new IDC assessment also underscored how SoftwareOne uses AI‑driven automation and standardised data models, helping organisations achieve consistent and accurate analysis and optimisation outcomes.

In addition, SoftwareOne was recognised as a leader because of its strong global delivery network, multilingual service centres, and ability to support customers across the full software lifecycle - from request and procurement to deployment, usage oversight, optimisation and retirement.

The report further cites SoftwareOne’s customer satisfaction with the quality and responsiveness of its services, as well as the importance of proactive guidance and communication from vendor teams.

Also listed in the SAM assessment as a Leader is Anglepoint, which is a San Francisco-based independent company that is majority-owned by SoftwareOne.
