For example, a customer on a Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (EA) may get greater advantage by working with indirect reseller partners to acquire Azure solutions through the Microsoft CSP programme.

As Microsoft’s Azure Expert MSP Partner, SoftwareOne can execute EA to CSP migration as a billing change. This removes the need for technical migration or downtime* and has no impact on your business operations. Azure Hybrid Benefit is a pricing programme for customers who have licences with Software Assurance. It maximises the value of existing on-premises Windows Server and SQL Server licence investments when you migrate to Azure. Save up to 40 percent* on Azure Virtual Machines, and up to 55 percent* on Azure SQL Database and SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines with Azure Hybrid Benefit. Save up to 80 percent* when you combine Azure Hybrid Benefit with Azure Reserved Instances.

What is an Azure Plan?

As part of the new commerce experience, an Azure plan gives you access to Azure services at standard pay-as-you-go rates under your Microsoft Customer Agreement.

How do I purchase Azure Reserved Virtual Machine Instances?

Purchase Azure Reserved VM Instances for one-year or three-year terms directly in the Azure portal with a single, upfront payment or monthly billing. The monthly payment option is available at no extra cost. However, if you’re in a non-US-dollar market, your monthly payment amount may vary depending on the current month’s market exchange rate for your local currency.

How can I get started with Azure Arc?

To get started with Azure Arc, check out Azure Arc Jumpstart, which comes with prebuilt scenarios and demo environments.

Azure Arc lets you manage Windows and Linux physical servers and virtual machines hosted outside of Azure, on your corporate network, or other cloud provider. The management of hybrid machines in Azure Arc is designed to be consistent with how you manage native Azure virtual machines, using standard Azure constructs such as Azure Policy and applying tags.

Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud provides vulnerability assessment technology to properly identify security gaps before they pose a serious threat to the IT environment.

The Advanced Management add-on helps map the vulnerability assessment process to patch management for prioritised patching based on criticality. It also reduces the service provider’s management burden with patch management automation and fail-safe patching technology, which automatically backs up the system before a patch is applied to enable easy rollback in case the update renders the system unstable.
