Unlocking Secure AI with Copilot & Agents

A Virtual Session with SoftwareOne, Ascot Group & Microsoft
This session brings together perspectives from SoftwareOne, Ascot Group and Microsoft to share what’s really happening on the ground with Copilot adoption.
Rather than focusing on theory, the session is built around real experience; how organisations are rolling Copilot out, what’s working (and what isn’t), how they’re approaching security and governance, and where things are heading next with Agents.
It’s also an opportunity to hear directly from Ascot Group on their journey so far, including how they’ve driven engagement internally and how their thinking is evolving as AI becomes more embedded across the business.
Agenda
| Section | Speaker | Focus |
| Copilot Strategy | Simon Harrison, SoftwareOne | Setting the scene on how quickly Copilot adoption has evolved, what “good” looks like in practise, and what we’re seeing across customers. Covering lessons learned so far, how organisations are measuring success, and how Agents are starting to shape what comes next. |
| Ascot Group’s Copilot Journey | Ben Brunning, Ascot Group | A look at Ascot Group’s Copilot journey so far, including early adoption, internal use cases, and also touching on how Ascot is evolving its Agent strategy, including E7. |
| Microsoft Roadmap Session | Brian O’Shea, Microsoft | An update on Microsoft’s direction with E7 and Agent365, what these capabilities enable, and how organisations should be thinking about security, governance and the next phase of AI adoption. |
Further detail: Ascot Group session
Ascot Group will share how their Copilot journey has translated into meaningful engagement across the business.
The session will cover the role of their internal Copilot Hackathon, how teams were mobilised, and what it unlocked in terms of productivity, collaboration and new ideas. It will also highlight key learnings around adoption, engagement and sustaining momentum beyond initial rollout.
Looking ahead, Ascot will outline how their approach is evolving, including scaling Copilot in a structured and governed way, ongoing use of Agents within their environment, and how their recent E7 adoption is supporting a more secure and enterprise-ready approach to AI.
