President’s Club 2026: Bringing people and performance together in Lisbon

Each year, President’s Club brings SoftwareOne colleagues from around the world together to recognise outstanding contributions to the business and the people behind them. More than a single moment of recognition, the event creates space to step away from day‑to‑day work and reflect on the impact individuals and teams make together.

“President’s Club is about celebrating colleagues who have gone above and beyond,” said SoftwareOne Co-CEO Melissa Mulholland. “Meeting this year’s winners in Lisbon was a powerful reminder of how diverse, talented, and committed our teams are, and how their work helps our customers and partners succeed every day.”

President’s Club first started in 2011 in Rio de Janeiro and has previously been held in other cities where we have offices such as Paris and Tokyo. This year’s programme in Lisbon was also the first President’s Club after SoftwareOne’s combination with Crayon.

The Lisbon experience

Over four days, the 2026 edition of President’s Club unfolded through volunteering projects, a tuk-tuk city challenge, a pastry class, a trip to picturesque Sintra, and other cultural experiences. The five-day event ended with an awards gala and closing celebration inspired by Portuguese traditions.

“Being recognised at President’s Club feels incredibly special,” said Senior Graphic Designer Mike Bolingbroke. “Connecting with colleagues I wouldn’t normally work with gave me new insights and has already helped improve collaboration across the business. It’s a moment to feel proud of the work you’ve done.”

A companywide salute to impact

This year’s winners reflect the different careers across SoftwareOne. From sales, marketing, IT, and finance to technical roles, consultants, project managers, and people and culture functions and more.

Participants are selected based on a balanced set of criteria, including sustained business performance, measurable customer impact, strong collaboration across teams and regions, and consistently living SoftwareOne’s values. All nominations are reviewed through a structured cross‑regional calibration process to ensure fairness, consistency, and global representation.

“What makes President’s Club truly meaningful is the opportunity to connect in person with colleagues from across regions and nationalities,” said Senior Manager Acquisitions & Integrations Joost Mank. “It’s not just about recognition, but about building relationships and celebrating success together as one team.”

The awards programme also highlights people in different stages of their career. Some came from our SoftwareOne Academy, which supports people starting their careers with hands-on experience and professional development. Others have been with SoftwareOne for several years and there were also participants who came to SoftwareOne through the combination with Crayon.

“President’s Club shows that even though we are a big company, the company still sees and values each and every person,” said Lead Global Revenue Controller Therese Solas. “It feels special to be recognised, but everything we do is a team effort, so it never feels like it’s just about the individual. This year it’s this group being recognised, and next year it will be others, which is what makes the programme feel genuine.”

The Legacy Project

One of the highlights of President’s Club is the long-held tradition of volunteering in the community that hosts the event. It’s an opportunity for participants to roll up their sleeves and leave a lasting contribution. This year with the help of Cosa Travel, half of the team volunteered at ABLA Guest House, a nonprofit offering charitable lodging, and the other half spent time at Plantar Uma Arvore to support environmental restoration efforts.

“The Legacy Project is something we’ve been proud to support for many years because it gives back in a meaningful way,” said Co-CEO Raphael Erb, who volunteered at Plantar Uma Arvore. “It was an honour to work alongside our winners to help protect the environment and it’s a strong reminder that when we come together as one, we make a lasting impact.”
