A major Southeast Asian media company with 8,000 users faced a common but critical challenge: rising costs and operational complexity due to a fragmented security environment. Their collection of standalone security tools created disconnected workflows across identity, threat protection, and compliance, weakening their resilience and limiting their readiness for AI and cloud transformation.

Working through the CSI programme, we delivered a comprehensive Microsoft 365 E5–led transformation that included:

• Microsoft Entra: Unified SSO, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, and B2B enablement
• Defender XDR: Coverage across endpoints, cloud, Office 365, and identity
• Microsoft Purview: Audit, data classification, insider risk, and DLP

We also embedded Security Copilot readiness into the solution design, aligning telemetry, governance, and permissions with Microsoft’s Responsible AI standards.

As a result of these initiatives, the media company was able to consolidate over five third-party tools, unify security and compliance under Microsoft 365 E5, streamline operational risk, and lower their total cost of ownership. Most importantly, their security stack is now positioned to support AI-augmented SOC workflows, a critical capability as threats grow in sophistication.

Unifying F&B Manufacturing Across Asia

A leading food and beverage (F&B) manufacturer operating across multiple Asian countries with 1,000 users faced mounting compliance pressure with GDPR and regional standards. Their infrastructure relied on siloed security products like Sophos and Fortinet, with limited integration and primarily reactive incident handling.

SoftwareOne executed a three-phase transformation:

1. Modernization: Deployment of Defender for Endpoint, Entra P2 with Conditional Access, and ASR policies
