Key business challenges

As a global organization with multiple offices across regions, International SOS required their IT and software estate to be agile, optimized and aligned to ever-changing business requirements. It was also key to ensure that systems were secure, up to date and optimized for all employees, including remote workers who frequently move across various sites.

However, International SOS’s IT infrastructure was in need of an update in order to maximize current resources and modernize existing systems. The end-user team needed greater clarity in rolling out new systems and going about their Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (EA) renewal for the three-year license requirement.

Additionally, outdated versions of software were identified and removed, and new services such as Microsoft Teams were also introduced to further streamline International SOS’s workflows. With new infrastructure and processes in place, International SOS is now better-equipped to carry out their cloud cost optimization strategy moving forward.
