Each country award represents recognition as the top Microsoft partner in that market. Selection criteria are stringent and include project excellence, customer impact, and sustained innovation throughout the year.

To take a deeper dive on a couple of examples, SoftwareOne Colombia earned Partner of the Year recognition for HCN Connect. This cloud-native platform has transformed how a leading energy company manages crude and gas commercialization. The solution replaced a costly, inflexible legacy system with a modern Azure-based platform built using Container Apps, Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps.

The business impact for the client was immediate. The customer achieved over 65% cost reduction with ROI delivered in under six months. Since go-live in May 2025, the platform has maintained zero incidents while handling critical daily operations including contract management, settlements, and regulatory reporting required by Colombia's Ministry of Mines and Energy.

The project was developed entirely by Colombian talent, strengthening the local Microsoft partner ecosystem. The modular architecture means 80% of components are reusable across other business units, providing a scalable model for the energy sector throughout Latin America. Close collabouration with Microsoft Colombia's Cloud Solution Architects ensured alignment with Azure best practices.

In another country win on another continent, Crayon Bulgaria earned Partner of the Year recognition for demonstrating how advanced security and cloud infrastructure solutions can drive business transformation in specialised industries. The team achieved 69.5% year-over-year CSP revenue growth and 27.4% growth in Microsoft 365 E5 deployments.

It’s a partnership proven to drive growth, innovation, and success, empowering customers to thrive in the digital economy.

Category excellence

SoftwareOne also achieved distinction in two global categories:

  • Our Category Award for Secure Productivity recognised our leadership in protecting productivity environments while enabling secure collabouration.
  • Our Scale Solutions submission earned Finalist status, acknowledging our innovative approaches to enterprise-scale cloud transformation.

In the Secure Productivity category, SoftwareOne Thailand demonstrated how to prepare organisations for AI integration while maintaining rigorous security standards across complex enterprise environments.

Thai organisations in finance, education, and manufacturing faced a critical challenge: enabling hybrid work and AI-driven productivity without compromising security or regulatory compliance. SoftwareOne Thailand developed a consultative approach centreed on Secure Productivity Proof of Value workshops that helped organisations identify endpoint vulnerabilities, assess identity risks, and address data governance gaps.

This diagnostic method led to targeted Microsoft 365 E3 deployments integrating Defender for Endpoint, Intune, and Entra ID. For organisations ready to advance, the team integrated Microsoft 365 Copilot into secure frameworks—launching AI capabilities on hardened security foundations.

The award recognised the systematic approach that delivers real confidence so that organisations don't need to choose between innovation and protection.

Complementing this win, our Finalist status in the Scale Solutions category recognised our success in helping small and mid-sized organisations adopt Microsoft technologies at scale.

This is effectively creating a new partner segment, enabling SMB and SMC clients to generate cost savings that fund innovation while driving deep adoption of Microsoft solutions globally.

Our differentiation in this emerging sector centres on the SoftwareOne Intelligence Fabric methodology and Copilot Labs—proprietary frameworks that accelerate Microsoft technology adoption. Rather than simply reselling solutions, we've developed repeatable intellectual property that demonstrates how Microsoft's stack can transform business models.

It’s a success story exemplified by a UK customer that‘s in the procurement intelligence field. With our help, they built an AI-powered solution using Azure OpenAI's GPT-4o that cut data processing times by 60% and achieved 90% accuracy in automated reports.

My heartfelt congratulations to everyone who made our Microsoft Partner of the Year awards possible. Being number one for our customers in countries in all corners of the world reflects our global reach and deep local expertise. To be named as the overall leader in Secure Productivity is also special, because it recognises our outstanding capability in helping organisations work smarter and safer. These awards are testament to the combined customer-centric strength of SoftwareOne and Crayon and the exciting future we’re building together.
