9:00 AM – Settling In with Copilot Nearby
Like most Mondays, the day started with a long to-do list. I headed into the office — not just to check off tasks but to set the tone for the week.
I grabbed a coffee, exchanged a quick hello with a coworker, and settled in.
9:15 AM – Copilot Prepares the Day Behind the Scenes
As I settled in, Microsoft 365 Copilot was already working in the background — surfacing recent chats, calendar context, and project threads across Outlook and Teams.
That background activity gave me a jumpstart, helping me enter the workday with focus and direction — even before opening my inbox.
9:30 AM – Outlook Copilot Cuts Through 50+ Emails
I had been on leave for two days the week prior, and my inbox was overflowing. Microsoft 365 Copilot in Outlook filtered out the noise, highlighted the most relevant emails, and generated short summaries so I didn’t have to open each one.
That alone saved me at least 30 minutes — and gave me a clear picture of what needed attention first.
10:00 AM – Teams Copilot Keeps Me in Sync
For the meetings I couldn’t attend whilst on leave, our team has made it a collective practice to always enable Copilot in our Teams meetings. By doing so, we ensure every meeting is automatically documented with clear summaries and actionable points. This approach means that even if someone misses a session, they stay fully informed and aligned—no need for catch-up calls or piecing things together from scattered messages.
11:00 AM – Vendor Call Captured with Clarity
On a vendor call in Teams, Microsoft 365 Copilot took over note-taking. It captured discussion highlights, flagged next steps, and even auto-assigned action items. This meant I could focus on the conversation itself — no scribbled notes or follow-ups forgotten. Everything was documented and waiting for me when the call ended.
12:00 PM – PowerPoint Copilot Delivers a Last-Minute Deck
Just before lunch, a last-minute request — a customer-facing deck was needed urgently. Normally that would spike stress levels, but not this time. I gave Microsoft 365 Copilot a quick prompt in PowerPoint, and it returned a first draft. I added a few personal touches and it was ready to go.
1:00 PM – Word & SharePoint Copilot Combo
After lunch, I turned my focus to drafting a Statement of Work in Word. Microsoft 365 Copilot helped lay out the structure, inserted standard legal content, and ensured
formatting consistency throughout the document. Midway, a client reached out asking for a past proposal. Instead of manually digging through folders, I turned to Microsoft 365 Copilot in SharePoint. With just a short prompt, it pulled up the exact proposal I needed in seconds.
2:30 PM – Excel Copilot Catches a Critical Error
My next task was to review and refine a proposal budget in Excel. Microsoft 365 Copilot not only helped with forecasting and building quick scenario models, but it also spotted a formula error I hadn’t noticed. A small catch, but one that could’ve led to a big problem if
missed.
4:00 PM – Weekly Wrap-Up with Viva Insights & More
As the day wound down, I turned to Viva Insights to take stock of the week ahead. It reminded me of pending tasks in Planner and upcoming meetings that needed prep. A quick search in Microsoft 365 Copilot brought up last quarter’s client notes, and instead of opening multiple tabs to search the web, I asked Microsoft 365 Copilot to pull up recent product roadmap updates. The answers were fast, relevant, and right in context.
5:00 PM – Wrapping Up with Calm, Not Chaos
By the end of the day, most of my Monday checklist was either completed or in motion. More importantly, I didn’t feel overwhelmed. Microsoft 365 Copilot had worked quietly behind the scenes — across Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Viva — keeping things moving, clear, and manageable. It didn’t just save time. It saved mental bandwidth.
