Microsoft implements these requirements using the Office 365 Suites. Microsoft Teams Live Events is another building block that makes it easy to implement external and internal livestreams for up to 10,000 participants.
Commissioning external providers is consigned to history, as the technology now lies firmly in the hands of the companies. This can be particularly important when ad hoc announcements need to be broadcasted throughout the company or even beyond the organization. Often there is simply not enough time to complete these tasks with external assistance – things just have to move quickly!
Microsoft has added a number of other integrative services to this solution, for example by offering content management for the recordings in Office 365 Stream (video platform) and Microsoft Yammer (corporate social media platform) that are often absent from livestreaming solutions or that would merely produce data silos. In this regard, it is fair to speak of a best-of-suite approach, instead of a classic best-of-breed strategy.
