“So I started at SoftwareONE in January 2013 as a BDM joining from Dimension Data in the UK. Originally joined as I really like the welcoming nature of the interviewers (Ian Wythe and Zak Virdi) their focus on culture but also the potential that they showed me in what was then the licensing portal (the heady days before Pyracloud 😊). Enjoyed 3 and half successful years working in Ian’s team reaping the benefits of hitting target and enjoying the annual SoftwareONE ski trip! In 2016 I made a move to APAC. I worked as Busines Development Director for the region reporting into Dieter and Raphi. This let me and my family experience many wonderful cultures in the region after relocating to Singapore. From a work perspective I got to travel and work with colleagues from across Asia making new and long lasting friendships that I will always treasure. Due to family circumstance I returned to the UK SoftwareONE business in mid-2018 after 2 years in Singapore. I spent a year in role working on Financial services accounts but after nearly 7 years at SoftwareONE my head was turned by an upcoming SAM vendor. After just under 1 year at this vendor Covid hit and we decided to go our separate ways. I knew where I wanted to be and that was back at SoftwareONE it’s just a great place to work. I spoke to Zak and very quickly was welcomed back as if I had never left It made me feel really valued and proved that we do really live our culture and live up to our core values! I am looking forward to many more years as part of the SoftwareONE family.”
