We are excited to announce that SoftwareONE’s Bolivia team has won the Country Partner of the Year award for this year’s Microsoft Inspire 2018. There were over 2,600 applications spanning 115 countries for various categories across Microsoft’s solutions. The country winners are those that have worked diligently to provide best in class Microsoft solutions for their respective geography.
SoftwareONE Bolivia has won the 2018 Microsoft Country Partner of the Year award Winner for their exceptional work with the Gobierno Autonomo Municipal La Paz (GAMLP) — Bolivia (an entity whose main objective is the provision of public services to citizens, through the use of inclusive technology.) In the effort of becoming a “smart” city, GAMLP developed a service platform, in which citizens can perform various procedures on a daily basis, and request information of any public service offered by the GAMLP. Initially the platform was on-premises but SoftwareONE helped to move it to Azure and the newly revamped solution – IGob 24/7 platform – was able to fulfill resident requests that were taking up to three days to complete in just five minutes. In turn, SoftwareONE helped GAMLP save over half a million dollars by not having to purchase new servers and using IaaS capabilities. In addition, the IGob 24/7 will aid nearly 400,000 residents.
“We are honored to recognize SoftwareONE of Bolivia as a Microsoft Country Partner of the Year,” said Gavriella Schuster, corporate vice president, One Commercial Partner, Microsoft Corp. “SoftwareONE has distinguished itself as a top partner, exemplifying the remarkable expertise and innovation we see in our Microsoft partner community to deliver transformative solutions.”
This year’s Microsoft Inspire is being held July 15 – 19th in Las Vegas, NV – we hope you can join us for all things Microsoft and SoftwareONE!
