SoftwareONE Launches New Unified Communications Service - UCSimple

UCSimple provides strategic consulting, implementation and managed services from a single source, empowering businesses with cost transparency and budget control.

Today, SoftwareONE, a leading platform, solutions and service provider, announced the launch of UCSimple – a comprehensive unified communications managed service. Designed to help accelerate digital transformation strategies, UCSimple enables organizations to improve collaboration, engagement and productivity across the entire workforce.

Traditional communication tools are unable to meet the needs of today's businesses and dispersed workforces. For instance, IDG estimates 72.3 percent of employees will work remotely by 2020. Flexible work models are a top priority for employees, closely followed by familiar IT infrastructures that enable ease of communication and collaboration, as well as location independent access to all relevant data.

To meet the needs of this evolving market, SoftwareONE is introducing UCSimple to customers in the United States, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. UCSimple provides organizations with a holistic Unified Communications (UC) solution for the planning, implementation and management of their communication and collaboration needs.

“At SoftwareONE, our goal is to help each individual, team, group and department improve their efficiency by enabling them to communicate and collaborate as effectively as possible,” said Sean Nicholson, Global Director, Technology Services at SoftwareONE. “We help establish a future workplace strategy to meet the new business needs, transforming the way in which people work. To enable this outcome for our customers, we have designed our new UC offering, UCSimple.”

“Modern companies are breaking new ground in terms of communication and collaboration for their workforce. Until recently, email and desktop phones were the best ways to communicate with each other. However, unified communications continue to influence the way we communicate with colleagues and how we work together in a global context,” said Markus P. Keller, Global UC Division Leader at SoftwareONE. “For most of our customers, it is not just about finding a suitable UC solution and integrating it into their own company, but also ensuring a smooth communication process. With UCSimple, we help our customers to design a workplace of the future according to their own requirements."

With UCSimple, SoftwareONE launches a comprehensive solution for the strategic planning of an organization’s UC requirements. Customers have a flexible and transparent billing cycle (per user per month) and receive access to SoftwareONE's UC experts at every stage of their project (Advisory, Delivery and Managed Services). This provides customers with optimal planning, security, and flexibility while managing costs.

“As a first step towards the future workplace, we need to understand and define exactly what our customers need. This is the prerequisite for us to put together the best UC solution for them. Once we've identified the ideal UC roadmap and design, we can begin implementation and prepare customers and their employees for its use. If the new UC system is live, we help manage the new environment. Our holistic UC approach not only reduces costs, but also increases productivity and employee satisfaction,” continues Keller.

In the coming months, UCSimple will be rolled out to additional markets, including Brazil, the United Kingdom and Singapore.
